Education and Rehabilitation Welfare Society
Education and Rehabilitation Welfare Society for Humanity serves the Taha Town area, part of Karachi’s Orangi Town, one of Asia’s largest low-income settlements. The area has a population of around 100,000 and covers approximately 10.879 square kilometers, including neighborhoods such as Ittehad, Nawan, and Gulshan Ghazi Rashidabad. Residents face severe shortages of basic services, with no hospitals or schools available at the government level. The organization works to improve access to education, healthcare, and social welfare services, aiming to empower the community and provide opportunities for sustainable development.
