Gulshan-e-Bakhtawar Welfare Association
Gulshan-e-Bakhtawar Welfare Association is a community-based organization serving Bakhtawar Goth, an old neighborhood at the junction of main roads in Karachi. The area is home to daily wage laborers, retired defense and police personnel, and low-income families, with over 10,000 residents. Most residents have limited access to education, with no government schools and private schools being unaffordable. Established by committed community members, the association works to address long-standing social, educational, and development challenges. It engages local leaders and community representatives to promote social welfare, advocate for infrastructure development, and strengthen community participation, aiming to empower residents and improve living conditions.
