Pakistan Fisher Peoples Unity was established to address the long-standing social issues of fishing communities in Ibrahim, Haidri, and surrounding areas. Fisher settlements faced basic problems such as lack of education, water access, marketing support, and information. On May 18, 2006, a social organization named Sarin Set was formed in Ibrahim Haidri and later worked with Pakistan Fisher Folks to improve conditions. The Unity was created to focus fully on these issues. Subsequently, measures were taken to resolve the challenges faced by these communities.
