The Urban Resource Center continued its mission from July to December 2019 by actively addressing key urban challenges in Karachi. The report highlights their efforts in identifying and documenting issues related to poor infrastructure, inadequate public services, traffic congestion, informal settlements, and environmental degradation. URC collaborated with local communities, researchers, and stakeholders to gather data and advocate for policy changes aimed at improving the city’s urban landscape.

During this period, URC also conducted awareness sessions, public forums, and research activities to engage citizens and promote participatory urban planning. Their initiatives not only informed the public but also empowered communities to take part in decision-making processes.
