Here is how much you will have to pay to travel on Malir Expressway
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has indicated that the first section of the Malir Expressway is expected to open for public use on January 11 or 12.
The update came during a progress review meeting chaired by the CM, with attendees including Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani, Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah, Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Special Assistant Qasim Naveed, Karachi Commissioner Hassan Naqvi, Additional IG Karachi Javed Alam Odhno, and other key officials.
The meeting was briefed on the completion of the expressway’s initial 9-kilometer segment. The CM highlighted that the Malir Expressway will feature an automatic toll collection system with 18 booths, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for commuters.
Security measures were also discussed, with plans for 7 to 8 police vehicles to patrol the route to ensure safety.
Toll Fees for Malir Expressway
The toll rates for the Malir Expressway have been set at Rs. 100 for cars and Rs. 200 for buses.
