Provision of Incinerators in Different Hospitals EIA Report evaluates the potential environmental and social impacts of procuring, installing, commissioning, and operating incinerators in eight selected hospitals across Sindh. The study assesses both short-term and long-term effects on the immediate surroundings and proposes mitigation measures with clearly identified responsible agencies to ensure effective implementation.

The project targets the installation of incinerators at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, National Institute of Child Health, Dr. Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital, Sindh Government Lyari General Hospital, Peoples Medical College Hospital Shaheed Benazirabad, Liaquat University Hospital Jamshoro, Ghulam Muhammad Mahar Medical College Hospital Sukkur, and Chandka Medical College Hospital Larkana. The Health Department, Government of Sindh, is the project proponent, aiming to reduce infectious hospital waste and control the spread of Hepatitis C across the province.
