Flood Victims’ Rehabilitation Program

On 21 October 2010, the Urban Resource Center hosted a forum titled “Flood Victims’ Rehabilitation Program,” with Taj Haider as the speaker. The forum focused on the rehabilitation efforts for flood-affected communities, examining the challenges and progress of relief programs. Taj Haider discussed the multifaceted needs of flood victims, including housing, healthcare, and livelihood restoration. He emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts between government agencies, NGOs, and local communities to ensure effective and sustainable rehabilitation. The session also highlighted the need for long-term planning to reduce vulnerability to future disasters.
