The report discusses the challenges these workers face, including legal and social barriers, and explores the socio-economic importance of street trading in Karachi’s urban landscape. The work draws upon the contributions of Architects Asiya Sadiq Polack and Christophe Polack, Dr. Noman Ahmed, Engineer Mansoor Raza, as well as various research efforts supported by the Karachi Urban Resource Center, Hamza Arif, and NurJehan Mawaz Khan.
