On 30 July 2008, a forum was held titled “Karachi’s Electricity Crisis” with Professor Muhammad Nauman (late) as the speaker. The forum focused on the ongoing electricity shortage in Karachi and its economic and social impacts. Nauman discussed the challenges of power generation, losses, and inefficient management. He proposed urgent solutions, including improved infrastructure, better planning, and the adoption of sustainable energy sources to resolve the crisis.
