On 29 September 2011, the Urban Resource Center hosted a forum titled “Mass Transit Motorbike Option,” with Arif Hasan and Mansoor Reza as the speakers. The forum explored the potential of integrating motorbikes as a viable option within Karachi’s mass transit system. Arif Hasan and Mansoor Reza discussed the advantages of motorbikes for improving last-mile connectivity, reducing traffic congestion, and offering an affordable transport alternative for the city’s growing population. The session also highlighted the need for proper regulation, infrastructure development, and safety measures to ensure the effectiveness of this option in the city’s transportation landscape.
