Interconnection Scheme at Dhabeji-Gharo Circuit outlines the proposed installation of a 0.6 km overhead transmission line. This line will link a newly proposed T-Off Tower at the existing BOC-Dhabeji Circuit—near Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited (FFBL)—to the gantry of FFBL’s Coal Power Plant. The project aims to enhance electricity supply infrastructure by utilizing surplus power generated by FFBL. The interconnection is critical as FFBL’s coal power plant is projected to generate 100–120 MW, with up to 70 MW available for export to the national grid. This initiative is intended to ease Karachi’s electricity shortage by integrating this surplus energy into the K-Electric system.
