On 18 October 2012, the Urban Resource Center organized a forum titled “The Educational Situation in Pakistan – Issues and Challenges,” featuring Dr. Syed Jafar Ahmed as the speaker. The forum explored the major challenges facing Pakistan’s education system, including poor infrastructure, lack of qualified teachers, and limited access to quality education in rural areas. Dr. Syed Jafar Ahmed discussed the social and economic impact of these educational disparities and stressed the need for comprehensive reforms. The session emphasized the importance of increasing government investment in education, improving curriculum standards, and ensuring equal educational opportunities for all.
