Women’s Rights and Pakistan’s Constitution

On 30 October 2019, the Urban Resource Center held a forum titled “Women’s Rights and Pakistan’s Constitution in the Context of Urban Development,” featuring Anees Haroon as the speaker. The forum discussed the intersection of women’s rights, constitutional protections, and urban development in Pakistan. Anees Haroon highlighted the challenges women face in accessing equal opportunities in urban settings and emphasized the need for policies that integrate gender equality into city planning. The session also focused on how Pakistan’s constitution can be a tool to promote inclusive urban development that supports women’s empowerment.
