On 31 March 2022, the Urban Resource Center organized a public forum titled “The Untamed Horse – Growing Population and Haphazard Urban Planning,” featuring Arif Hasan as the speaker. The forum examined the rapid urbanization and its consequences, focusing on the challenges posed by unchecked population growth and poorly coordinated urban planning. Arif Hasan discussed how the lack of effective planning has led to overcrowded neighborhoods, strained resources, and environmental degradation.
